The Galway International Arts Festival is Ireland's largest annual arts festival, but due to Covid 19 did not take place in 2020 in the city of Galway. Founded in 1978, the Festival collaborates with artists and companies throughout the world to produce and present an international programme of theatre, spectacle, dance, visual arts, music, literature & comedy involving hundreds of artists and performers.
A great festival for fans of horse racing. The festival starts every year on the last Monday in July and continues for seven days. Don't expect to see too many Connemara Ponies at the Ballybrit racecourse!
"Jim was punctual, kind, knowledgeable, and very perceptive in his ability to know just what would appeal to us as a group. While Jim did the driving, we were able to see fantastic scenery. We went places we never would have found, heard unique stories and had a fabulous day!"
Liz D., New Jersey, USA
"Jim was very informative. I was driven to many out of the way places and the scenery was spectacular. I can highly recommend Jim's tour, his driving, his professionalism and the way he goes about understanding what it is you want to see and experience."
AnnMarie D., Melbourne, Australia
