The Twelve Bens, Ballynahinch, Kylemore Abbey, Inagh Valley, Aughanure Castle, The Burren and the Cliffs of Moher are amongst many of the attractions well worth visiting in the West of Ireland.
There are several ways to tour Connemara and The Burren. You will find many Coach Tours to bring you to see the beauty of this unique area. Unfortunately, and of necessity, they follow a rigid timetable that may not suit your needs.
You could of course drive. . . provided that you don't mind following maps while you concentrate on driving on the side of the road that you may not be accustomed to on narrow winding roads instead of relaxing while you enjoy the beauty of your surroundings.

Most of us have been on tours or day trips where we wished we could have had another few minutes to go up that little hill or wait for a cloud to roll by so that we could get that special photograph or just linger a little longer to enjoy the view but had to move on because of the tour time table. An hour that we would have preferred to spend viewing the beauty of an area that we had travelled a long way to see.
